- LaDontae Henton is quietly getting his points this afternoon following a career high 38 points Sunday in a win over Notre Dame. Henton leads the Providence Friars with 10 first half points.
- Ted Bancroft came off the bench and buried a three right away. He's been unconscious lately making his last 5 attempts from downtown.
- Kris Dunn will not play today but Jalen Lindsey may get some minutes. Lindsey looked okay in pregame warmups. Dunn wasn't even on the floor pregame. Lindsey has yet to see the floor this afternoon.
- Yale has hung around and led for a decent amount of the first half. The Bulldogs are only shooting 38% from the field though while the Friars are 50%.
- Yale had attempted 14 three pointers already this half and has only connected on four. Providence has a huge advantage at the free throw line. The Friars are 12/17 while Yale is only five of seven. The Friars are getting the ball inside and attacking the rim while Yale has been settling for jumpers.
- Providence's halftime lead of seven at 34-27 marks the largest lead either team has had in the first half.
