After starting the season 3-0, the Hoyas will face their first power conference opponent of the season in 18th-ranked Florida.

Florida comes into the Battle 4 Atlantis not at full strength The Gators will be missing starters Dorian Finney-Smith and Eli Carter sidelined with injuries, so Georgetown will likely be playing a Florida squad that's a shell of itself. Florida has already dropped one game this season to in state rival Miami and nearly lost a second to UL Monroe in overtime.

This is the first full regular-season meeting between Georgetown and Florida. The only time these two schools faced off was in the Sweet 16 in 2006. The 3rd-seeded Gators eked past the 7th-seeded Hoyas 57-53 en route to the school’s first National Championship. The two played one half on the USS Bataan at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville in 2012 before the game was stopped, and eventually canceled, due to moisture on the court. The Gators also led that one 27-23 at the half. As the game never counted, the Hoyas look to pull even with Florida in the series at 1-1.

Game time: 9:30 p.m. ET
