The St. John's Red Storm will be without transfer forward Keith Thomas this season after the school announced he has been ruled academically ineligible for the 2014-2015 season.
Thomas, one of the most sought after junior college recruits this offseason, averages 15.3 points per game and 15.7 rebounds per game last season at Westchester.
"We share Keith's disappointment and as a basketball family will provide moral support during this challenging time in his life. Keith clearly has a bright future in basketball and is determined to ultimately further his education," St. John's head coach, Steve Lavin, said.
SNY's Adam Zagoria originally broke the story.
