Following an impressive undefeated streak and an early season championship in the Bahamas, the Wildcats have entered the Top 25 and are seated at the No. 14 spot in the Associated Press Poll.
Villanova (7-0) is coming off a successful run at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament where James Bell was named tournament MVP and JayVaughn Pinkston was named to the All-Tournament team. On the way to their undefeated record, 'Nova has rattled off wins against then-No. 2 Kansas and then-No. 23 Iowa.

The Wildcats have also made some early waves in the bracketology world. 'Nova has moved to No. 5 in Joe Lunardi's RPI rankings on ESPN. Drexel found its way to a spot at No. 15 and the next Big East team on the list is Butler at No. 35.
Newcomers to the AP Poll is San Diego State at No. 24 and No. 25 Dayton. The Wildcats are now the only Big East team remaining in the Top-25. Creighton has dropped out.
