As the Big East moves into a period of heavy television negotiations with ESPN, it's worth noting that future football member Boise State remains a solid television draw. Boise State's game at Michigan State was the third highest rated game of the weekend. Louisville's Sunday afternoon game against rival Kentucky also performed respectably given there's usually very little college football on Sundays.
The SBD also points out that the ratings for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff between Boise State and Georgia in 2011 beat the ratings for this year's version between Auburn and Clemson.
