Here's the BlogPoll Top 25 following week two of the college football season. It took two weeks, but, we finally have a Big East team in the top 20. Louisville improved to 2-0 after beating Missouri State and with all of the bizarre upsets at the bottom end of the poll, was moved up by a number of voters that had them either unranked or in the 20-25 range. Both South Florida and Rutgers got votes and I suspect the winner of Thursday night's game will come very close to being ranked or will be ranked in both major polls and the BlogPoll Top 25 next week. Especially USF since it has already won at Nevada, which is no small task.
Cincinnati also received votes after blowing out Pittsburgh last Thursday night. The Bearcats have reloaded in 2012 and will have a chance to make a big statement in the non-conference against Virginia Tech in a couple of weeks. If they do, both Cincinnati and Louisville have a chance to move up substantially in the polls by the end of 2012.
