Preseason AP Poll: Louisville Ranked Number 25, Cincinnati And South Florida Receive Votes

Louisville is ranked in the college football Associated Press Top 25. The Cardinals enter the season at #25. Louisville is the only Big East team to be ranked in the preseason Top 25. South Florida and Cincinnati also received votes. Rutgers, which did receive votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll, did not receive any in the AP Poll. No other Big East teams received votes.

Future Big East member Boise State is ranked #24 while future members Central Florida and Houston appear in the also receiving votes below. Here's a quick video reaction from Charlie Strong to being ranked (courtesy of the Louisville Courier-Journal).
