Now that UCLA has completed its spring practice, all FBS teams have completed their spring scrimmages and attendance figures are in for those games. While spring football is still a relatively new phenomenon, its perceived importance as a barometer of fan devotion to the program, continues to grow. Sports Business Daily has compiled the official attendance numbers from all BCS Conference schools except Purdue, Indiana, South Florida, Cincinnati, Duke and Northwestern, who did not record official statistics.
From the table below, the two schools expected to be the class of the Big East in 2012, Rutgers and Louisville, both lead the Big East in spring football game attendance at 15,000. Their attendance figures put them in a tie for 27th among all FBS schools. You can view the entire table after the jump.
