Big East Basketball Recruiting: Darrick Wood Decommits From St. John's, Aquille Carr Commits To Seton Hall

The St. John's Red Storm are down to zero commits for the Class of 2012 after Darrick Wood decommitted on Jan. 5. Wood, a 6-4, 170 pound 4-star guard, maintains that he is still open to signing with the Red Storm and still has them ranked first. Like other St. John's recent targets, grades may be a problem for Wood, though he says otherwise. For more on this story, visit Rumble In The Garden.

In other Big East basketball recruiting news, the Seton Hall Pirates are fresh off a win over No.8 Connecticut in league play and have picked up a 4-star point guard commitment from Aquille Carr. Carr is a Class of 2013 commit. He stands just 5-6 or maybe 5-7, but is lighting quick with a range of skills (see video below).
