DePaul Basketball Recruiting: Durrell McDonald Commits To Blue Demons

The DePaul Blue Demons picked up their third commitment for the Class of 2012 when Durrell McDonald (Green Valley HS, Nev.) gave DePaul a verbal commitment on Monday. He plans to enroll in April.

McDonald (6-2) describes himself as a combo guard. Through 18 games, the senior has averaged 21.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Both academics and the style of play attracted him to DePaul.

"I really liked the academics and style of play. It's very up-tempo, and I like that," McDonald said. "I feel like it's my style of basketball."
