We're here to get you caught up on the latest in Big East football recruiting. We posted yesterday about the 4 and 5 star targets the Rutgers Scarlet Knights were close to wrapping up.

Things don't always work out how you plan in recruiting. Rutgers target and 4-star local defensive back Yuri Wright decided to commit to Colorado instead. Yesterday, the Scarlet Knights did land J.J. Denman, a Wisconsin OL commit.

The South Florida Bulls picked up a verbal commitment from TE/DE Guito Ervilus. Ervilus is a 6-4, 220 pound 3-star or 2-star player, depending on the recruiting service.

The Smoking Musket gets you caught up on the West Virginia Class of 2012. The West Virginia Mountaineers lost DB Da'Quan Davis to Penn State and lost the commitments of WR Danny McKinney and S Chaz Whittaker. They picked up LB Garrett Hope and OL Mark Glowinski.

The Syracuse Orange lost the commitment of Leroy Owens, which drops their class down to 23 commits. Owens decided to remain close to home and chose FIU.
