Louisville wide receiver Josh Bellamy was one of several Big East players to play in the Battle of Florida all-star game over the weekend. Bellamy, a receiver that also played significant snaps at defensive back in 2011 as well, is hoping to improve his draft stock between now and April's NFL Draft. The Battle of Florida game featured players from across the country with roots in the state of Florida and the two teams were coached by Bobby Bowden and Howard Schnellenberger.
Bellamy had a pretty good day in the game and in the video above, you can watch Bellamy catch a 60 yard touchdown pass on a wheel route from South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia. Louisville offensive lineman Ryan Kessling also participated in the game. Bellamy projects as a late-round draft pick or perhaps a free agent who will get a look as a reserve and special teams player in an NFL training camp.
