DePaul Wins Third Game in France 83-74

DePaul was victorious in the third game of their French tour. They won 83-74 against L'Azuréa Club de Golfe-Juan Vallauris on Friday night. DePaul is now 3-0 during the tour.

The 2011 Big East Rookie of the Year, Cleveland Melvin, put up 24 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and three blocks in the game for the Blue Demons. It was his second double-double on the trip. Melvin is averaging 24.7 points and 12 rebounds per game on the tour.

DePaul was cruising by halftime with a 54-35 lead at the break. The Blue Demons also owned the boards with 53 rebounds, 23 of which were on the offensive glass. The team shot 33-76 from the field for the game.

Brandon Young, Tony Freeland and Jeremiah Kelly also reached double figures. Young has reached double figures in points in all three games. He scored 16 points in the first game of the trip and a team-high 26 points in the second game.

The Blue Demons have one more game remaining on the trip on Saturday in Monaco. DePaul returns to Chicago on Sunday.
