Here's your omnibus Big East football recruiting update with all the latest commitments from the past week.
Cincinnati: The Bearcats added a trio of three-star players from Michigan to their 2012 class last Friday: LB Lester Liston Jr. (Grand Blanc), RB Dennis Norfleet (Martin Luther King) and DB Leviticus Payne (Southfield). These additions bring Cincinnati's total to 18 commitments.
Connecticut: The Huskies are up to 14 commitments to their 2012 class with the addition of QB Casey Cochran(Masuk). Cochran is a three-star rated quarterback who is "arguably, the most highly touted in-state recruit to pick UConn since Shelton's Dan Orlovsky in 2000."
Louisville: None in the past week. Total 2012 commits: 12.
Pittsburgh: The Panthers have been really busy picking up transfers this offseason, but have managed to land 12 high school commitments as well. Three-star Maryland LB Devon Porchia (Gilman School) is the latest commit for the 2012 class.
Rutgers: The Scarlet Knights landed their 14 commitment over the weekend by picking up four-star WR Leonte Carroo (Don Bosco Prep).
South Florida: None in the past week: Total 2012 commits: 10.
Syracuse: The Orange commitment list increased to 18 today. Virginia LB Darius Parson (Woodbridge Senior HS) informed Syracuse coaches today that he will be joining Syracuse next season.
TCU: None in the past week. Total 2012 commits: 15.
West Virginia: None in the past week. Total 2012 commits: 18.
