TCU 10th in 2012 Football Recruiting

According to ESPN, the TCU Horned Frogs currently have the 10th best recruiting class in the nation for 2012. We haven't brought you much TCU coverage here at BECB as the Frogs aren't actually in the league yet. However, this news is about the version of the team that will be playing in the Big East so it's not too early to keep tabs on them.

Texas was the No. 1 ranked team so far. Florida State, Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida, Michigan, USC, Miami and LSU were the other top ten teams. There were no other Big East teams in the Top 25.

TCU came in at number 10 on the strength of having two players ranked in ESPNU 150 (DE Devonte Fields, QB Tyler Matthews). Out of their current eleven 2012 commits, five were 4-star players and six were 3-star players.

TCU is putting together a solid class for their first year in the Big East although they recently lost out on speedy wide receiver Kavahra Holmes who signed with LSU.
