ESPN's Eamonn Brennan thinks rather highly of Louisville's new transfer forward Luke Hancock. In particular, Brennan likes Hancock's efficiency and believes if Louisville challenges in 2012, Hancock will be a big piece of the puzzle.

Brennan also notes that St. John's will be one of the nation's youngest teams with just one returning letter winner on the roster in 2011-12.

Jack Bogaczyk of the Charleston Daily Mail notes a common theme these days, the Big East is looking to get paid on its next television contract.

Sports Illustrated's Bill Carey notes that Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater is one of the nation's biggest impact freshmen that had the chance to enroll in college early and go through spring ball.

TCU's Gary Patterson says his program is already benefiting from being able to recruit as a BCS conference member.

CBS' Brett McMurphy spoke with Big East Commissioner John Marinatto and learned that the Big East will wait until next year to begin negotiating its new television deal. This means the league is likely going to test the free agent waters and give other networks a chance to bid up the price instead of dealing solely with ESPN.
