Defensive end Jabaal Sheard from the Pittsburgh Panthers is the first pick of the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft for the Big East. Unless we count Andy Dalton from TCU (we will totally claim that once TCU is in the conference and we pretend like they were one of us all along) who went to Cincinnati with the 35th pick. The Browns picked up run stopper Phil Taylor in the first round and the selection of Sheard will make things happen for the Cleveland Browns on the defensive line. We didn't just say that did we?
For more on the selection of Jabaal Sheard head over to Dawgs By Nature or SB Nation Cleveland. Congratulate Pitt on the selection at Cardiac Hill.
Hail to Pitt. You are keeping the league afloat in this draft up to this point. Keep it up please.
