Syracuse is the new #1 team in the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls after both Kentucky and Ohio State lost tough, close road games. The Orange weren't the only Big East team moving in the polls. Louisville stayed at #4 in the coaches poll, but moved up to #4 in the AP poll after dispatching with Farleigh Dickinson. The Cardinals actually received two first place votes in the AP Poll. They have a week off before hosting Memphis. Also checking in from the Big East is Connecticut at #9, Marquette at #11, Pittsburgh at #15, and Georgetown at #16.
No other Big East teams received votes.
