According to multiple reports, the Big XII presidents and chancellors have voted to invite TCU to join the Big XII. The first report came here:
Brett McMurphy also reports that TCU will be required to pay the $5 million exit fee because it had already agreed to join the Big East, but it will not be required to wait the 27-month waiting period that existing members are required to wait before leaving. With the loss of TCU as a football playing member for next year, the Big East is down to just six football playing members for the future and loses what would have been its most highly ranked football program over the past few seasons. This loss could also lead to the defection of other Big East programs to the Big XII in the coming weeks.
