The DePaul Blue Demons have made the cut for Jaden Akins (Farmington, Mich./Ypsi Prep Academy).
Akins, a four-star, class of 2021 guard, trimmed his list of schools down to six and announced them via Twitter.

Akins will be focusing his recruitment on DePaul, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Florida, and Mississippi State moving forward.
He originally received over a dozen offers, including one from the Xavier Musketeers, who offered him last August.
This past season, Akins averaged 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks at Farmington High School. He’ll be teaming up with recent Michigan State commit and undisputed No. 1-ranked class of 2022 recruit Emoni Bates at the newly formed Ypsi Prep Academy next year.
