After netting his commitment back in April, the St. John's Red Storm were awaiting Yankuba Sima's clearance via the NCAA Clearinghouse for nearly the last five months.
Tuesday, they got the word.

The New York Post's ace Zach Braziller reports that Sima IS eligible to play for the Red Storm this coming season.

The news comes to no surprise as Braziller indicates. The 6-11 Jacksonville native will get to hit the floor this fall as the Johnnies begin a new era under new head coach Chris Mullin.
