The Sandy Cohen Chronicles: "The Rainy Day Women" - Anonymous Eagle
The near-unanimous reaction to hearing that Marquette had received a verbal commitment from Seymour (WI) guard Sandy Cohen was "What, the dad from The O.C.?" As such, it seemed the obvious thing to do would be use The O.C. references when he makes an outstanding play for the Golden Eagles. We spent last summer recapping episodes from the first season of the classic Fox drama in order to mine for gold for when the basketball playing Cohen did something superlative. He had a relatively quiet freshman campaign, but that doesn't curtail our quest for entertainment, both during the season and during the quiet summer months. So we're back again in 2015 with recaps for the 24 episode second season.

Arizona basketball recruiting: TJ Leaf's decommitment shakes up Pac-12 recruiting - Arizona Desert Swarm
With the decommitment from 5-star power forward TJ Leaf, Arizona joins Utah and Stanford as the only Pac-12 schools without commitment for 2016. As of right now, it should be pretty concerning for Arizona fans to see TJ Leaf walk away. He's been committed since November 19th, 2014, which made him the beginning of what seemed to be the making of yet another top class for Sean Miller.
Some Memories of Seth Greenberg - Voodoo Five
Seth Greenberg was hired by USF right around the same time I started working for USF Athletics. I've seen Coach Greenberg a few times since he left USF, and had a chance to say hello again this past weekend at the Sun Dome as he came to town to support the fundraisers for B.B. Waldon, and figured this would be a good opportunity to share some of my favorite memories of Coach Greenberg and his time in Tampa.
