Villanova 2015 schedule news: Wildcats to play Stanford in NIT Season Tip-Off

CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reports that the Villanova Wildcats will take on the Stanford Cardinal as part of the Preseason NIT Tip-Off event this November.

The 'Cats are part of a field that includes the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Arkansas Razorbacks, Akron Zips, ETSU Buccaneers, Green Bay Phoenix and Savannah State Tigers.

Previously, we learned that 'Nova would be facing the Zips and the Bucs from Rothstein reports as part of the on-campus portion of the event. Now, it appears that we know what the semifinals will be on November 26, 2025 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
