Malik Albert commits to Creighton

The JUCO guard has decided to play for the Bluejays.

Per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, JUCO guard Malik Albert of Mott Community College (Flint, MI) has committed to Creighton.

A year ago, via the NJCAA's official website, Albert played in 31 games and averaged 24.4 points and 4.5 assists per game with a free throw percentage of 79.4. He logged 42.8 points per 40 minutes and was 3rd in steals with 94.

If Albert proves to be anything like former Bluejay Devin Brooks - also a JUCO transfer - Creighton will certainly make out well here with his presence in the lineup.
