Adam Zagoria reported on Thursday that a former Villanova Wildcats superstar could be joining Chris Mullin's staff at St. John's.

Ed Pinckney, the 1985 NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, is reportedly set to leave his job as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association for a position on the first-year head coach's staff.

Mullin has already put together quite an impressive hierarchy in his first few weeks. Matt Abdelmassih and Barry Rohrssen are just two of several hires he's hauled in since accepting the job shortly after the conclusion of the 2014-15 college basketball season.
