Jaren Sina and Seton Hall have agreed to mutually part ways, the sophomore guard's father tells the Asbury Park Press. Sina did not go into details, but said the situation in the locker room has become "untenable for him". Per NCAA transfer regulations, Sina will be ineligible to transfer until after next season, and will not be able to transfer to a Big East team.
This is a major blow to a Seton Hall team whose season is suddenly spiraling out of control. FIrst, Brandon Mobley's not being on the same page, followed by reported tension between Sterling Gibbs and Isaiah Whitehead. If The Hall can't turn this around soon, Kevin Williard's head might be on the chopping block.
Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard released a statement in which he wished Sina the best of luck in his future endeavors. That can be found HERE.
We will have more on this story as it continues to unfold.
