What's at stake?

Not only is Butler mathematically eliminated from winning the Big East regular season championship, but also they have fallen out of second place and currently sit in third.  If the Bulldogs win out, they would lock up the two seed in the Big East Tournament.

For Marquette, they simply want the losing to stop. The Golden Eagles are in last in the Big East and have now lost nine of their last ten.
