Georgetown is dancing once again.
After a thrilling run through the Big East Tournament, winning four games in four days, the Georgetown Hoyas are in the NCAA Tournament. They have earned a 12 seed after catching fire and will face the 5-seeded Colorado Buffaloes in the Round of 64.
Colorado went 22-8 in the Pac-12 this year, with a 14-6 record in the conference. They went to the Pac-12 Tournament championship game but ultimately fell to the equally hot Oregon State Beavers. So, the Buffs are fixing to reset and realign before they face off with the Hoyas in this 5-12 game.
Georgetown is likely going to be a very trendy upset pick after their recent run in the conference tournament. Anything can happen in March of course, so many’s imagination may be captured and taken for a ride here.
No times or locations have been announced quite yet for this game.
