Seton Hall Pirates senior Khadeen Carrington and Xavier Musketeers freshman forward Naji Marshall are the recipients of the Big East’s weekly awards this go-around.

Carrington won Big East Player of the Week honors after a stellar showing against both the Providence Friars and St. John’s Red Storm. Carrington put up an average of 23.5 points, 3.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds this past week. This includes a 25-point outburst against the Friars, a game that had to be suspended and played again the following day. His stellar shooting was on display as well, as Deeno shot 51.7 percent on 29 field goal attempts. He also shot 14-15 from the free throw line, which included an 8-8 showing against the Friars.

Marshall, meanwhile, was excellent for the Musketeers in their lone game of the week. The Virginia native played 37 minutes against the Georgetown Hoyas and made the most of it. He scored 21 points, shot 8-10 from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line. Marshall also had seven boards, four assists and three steals in the victory against the Hoyas, too.

Kelan Martin (Butler Bulldogs), Max Strus (DePaul Blue Demons), Khyri Thomas (Creighton Bluejays), Kyron Cartwright (Providence Friars) and Mikal Bridges (Villanova Wildcats) made the Big East Honor Roll this week.
