Memphis Grizzlies 85, Milwaukee Bucks 81

Former Butler guard Kellen Dunham was a DNP for the Memphis Grizzlies, but the Grizzlies picked up a win.

Joshua Smith had eight points in 20 minutes for the Bucks.

Milwaukee’s Thon Maker, a one time St. John’s target, recorded ten fouls in the game.

Brooklyn Nets 72, Atlanta Hawks 65

Isaiah Whitehead had 10 points on 4-7 shooting, while recording two assists and two steals as Brooklyn improved to 2-0.

Former Georgetown Hoya Henry Sims had seven points and four rebounds for the Nets, as well.

NBA D-League Select 89, Houston Rockets 71

Former Xavier guard Tu Holloway had four points, three assists, and two steals in 22 minutes of play for D-League Select, while ex-Georgetown Hoya Jabril Trawick had a rough day on offense, going 1-8 (6-6 from the free throw line) for eight points and three steals.

Toronto Raptors 80, Dallas Mavericks 69

Vander Blue had six points on 3-10 shooting in 19 minutes for the Mavericks as they fell to 1-1 in the Vegas portion of the Summer League.

Miami Heat 92, Denver Nuggets 81

JaKarr Sampson recorded two points and one rebound in nine minutes for the Nuggets as they fell to 2-1.

Cleveland Cavaliers 99, Minnesota Timberwolves 68

Sir’Dominic Pointer had four points and two rebounds in 14 minutes in Cleveland’s victory.

Meanwhile, Kris Dunn missed the game for the Timberwolves due to a concussion, per the team.

Los Angeles Lakers 78, Golden State Warriors 65

Former Creighton Bluejay Ethan Wragge had five points and two rebound as the Lakers improved to 3-0.
