Butler lands a homegrown talent in the Class of 2016, landing 4-star Center Joey Brunk from Indianapolis.
After much consideration, I'm grateful to say I've committed to Butler University. Overjoyed to be a part of the bulldog family. #GoDawgs

Brunk turned down offers from Indiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Michigan State and Xavier, among others. He had strong ties to Oklahoma (his dad coached college ball in the state) and he recently had an in-home visit from IU head coach Tom Crean. But it was his visit to Butler earlier this month that swayed the 6-foot-10 big to Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Brunk averaged 16.5 points and 9 rebounds per game last year. He says he's committed to becoming stronger and more athletic heading into his senior year.
