Villanova's Darrun Hilliard and Georgetown's Isaac Copeland were announced as the Big East weekly award winners Monday, with Hilliard winning Player of the Week, and Copeland winning Rookie of the Week.
Darrun Hilliard led the Wildcats to two big road victories this week over Providence and Butler. He tallied 16 points against Providence, and set a career-high with 31 points (including eight three-pointers) against Butler. Hilliard leads 'Nova in scoring this season at 14.1 PPG
Isaac Copeland helped the Hoyas knock off Seton Hall in their only game of the week as he scored 20 points in 24 minutes. He also led the team in rebounding with eight.
