As we noted earlier Monday, Marlon Stewart's commitment to Creighton looked to be on the horizon. It is now official, per Stewart.

Stewart had a nice showing in his summer league with the Adidas Circuit which led to his recruiting stock being on the rise. He has powerful explosiveness and a great vertical which makes him a high-quality scoring threat as the video below from this summer shows.
When asked via DM why he picked Creighton, Stewart told BECB the following, "The opportunity to play as a freshman, The coaches and the style of play, how explosive they are, And playing against the best competition possible. The fans are really involved. It's a great community". Stewart also noted, "I was really interested before they (Creighton) offered. But the visit made me feel more excited about the situation".
Stewart becomes Greg McDermott's second commit in the Class of 2015, joining Justin Patton.
