Oklahoma vs. Creighton: Halftime Notes

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

- Buddy Hield made his presence felt right out of the gates as he scored Oklahoma's first seven points of the game. He's been held relatively in check since then though, as he enters the break with nine points. That said, he's found other ways to contribute, dishing out three assists, and coming away with five rebounds.

- Ryan Spangler, who wasn't known for his 3-point shooting abilities, knocked down a pair of triples in the first half and after the first 20 minutes, he has eight points.

- Neither the Sooners nor the Bluejays are shooting with remarkable efficiency. Oklahoma is scoring .972 points per possession while Creighton is scoring just .667 points per possession.

- The Bluejays are once again struggling from the 3-point line as they are a dismal 2-14 from the perimeter. Toby Hegner has taken the most attempts out of anyone with four, but has only made good on one of those shots.

Enjoy the 2nd half, everyone!
