~ In somewhat related news, Ponds talked to No.1 NY recruit Rawle Alkins shortly after committing to the Red Storm. As ace SNY reporter Adam Zagoria notes, Mullin & Co. are looking for a 'snowball effect' here after netting one of the big fish in the pond known as 'The Big Apple.'
