Abbey Bessler, Taylor Louis Earn BIG EAST Weekly Honors - BIGEAST.com
Xavier junior Abbey Bessler is the conference's Player of the Week after performing at a high-caliber level last week. It's the second time this season that the Hebron, Kentucky native has been awarded the honor, as she collected 4.62 points per set and had 19 kills in a victory over Butler.
The freshman of the week was Marquette's Taylor Louis, who picked up that honor for the fourth time this year. Louis, a native of Skokie, Illinois, averaged 5.25 kills, 2.62 digs and 5.81 points in two matchups versus Seton Hall and Villanova. Both of which that the Golden Eagles won.
