The Big East is last among the BCS conferences when it comes to players who made the 2011 Outland Trophy Watch List, which was released today. The B1G Ten led all conferences with 13 selections. The Outland Trophy is handed to the best interior lineman in the country by the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA). But, the Big East still did land six players on the list out of a total of sixty-five so we'll give you the information below:

• Don Barclay, OT, West Virginia
• Chris Jacobson, G, Pittsburgh
• Lucas Nix, OT, Pittsburgh
• Muhammad Petrus, C, Connecticut
• Kendall Reyes, DT, Connecticut
• Derek Wolfe, DT, Cincinnati

Kendall Reyes and Derek Wolfe are also on the preseason watch list for the Nagurski Award. In addition the the Nagurski Award and the Outland Trophy, Reyes is also on the preseason watch list for the Bednarik Award.
