Eight Big East Players on Maxwell and Bednarik Award Watch Lists

Below are the official watch lists from the Football Writers Association of America for the Maxwell Award and the Maxwell Award. The Maxwell Award honors "the nation's most outstanding football player" while the Bednarik Award is given to "the nation's most outstanding defensive football player". Four Big East players were named to the watch lists for each of the awards. 

Bednarik Award

• Kendall Reyes - UConn
• Bruce Irvin - West Virginia
• Brandon Lindsey - Pittsburgh
• Keith Tandy - West Virginia

Maxwell Award

• Isaiah Pead - Cincinnati 
• Zach Collaros - Cincinnati
• Geno Smith - West Virginia
• Ray Graham - Pittsburgh

After checking out the list below, we'd like to know if any Big East players were left off the list unfairly? Perhaps Mohamed Sanu from Rutgers?
