With spring practice all but finished across the nation, ESPN College Football Live released its preseason Top 25 heading into next season. Whereas the league finished the 2010 season with no teams ranked, West Virginia checks in at number 24 in ESPN's preseason rankings.
It's difficult to make a case that any other team should be ranked heading into the season, but, South Florida or perhaps a surprise team like, Louisville, Rutgers, or Syracuse will play well enough early to earn consideration once the season is under way.
