Villanova 2015 commit Jalen Brunson named finalist for Morgan Wooten award


The award is given out to the best high school basketball player in the country. Brunson joins Isaiah Briscoe, Jaylen Brown, Malik Newman, Ben Simmons and Stephen Zimmerman, Jr. as finalists for the prestigious award.

If he wins, Brunson would become the third player in a row from the Chicagoland area to win the award, as Jahlil Okafor (Whitney Young) and Jabari Parker (Simeon) took the honor in 2013 and 2014.
