The Marquette Golden Eagles dipped into the 2023 recruiting pool on Tuesday.
Shaka Smart and the Golden Eagles offered a talented native of Wisconsin. Milan Momcilovic of Pewaukee received an offer from them, his first-ever offer per his Verbal Commits page.

Thus far, Momcilovic obviously has loads of room to grow as we go into the 2021 season this fall. The 6-foot-8, 190-pound power forward will likely receive many more offers as time goes on, but MU getting in first is noteworthy of course. According to his 247Sports page, he’s received interest from the Iowa State Cyclones and Wisconsin Badgers, but neither has offered him yet to this point.
Marquette has now offered four different players in the Class of 2023. Two others are power forwards like Milan, in the form of TJ Power of Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, and Gus Yalden of IMG Academy. The other player they’ve offered is five-star guard Taison Chatman, who’s a native of Minneapolis.
