The Providence Friars are now in on a talented 2021 recruit.
Bryce Hopkins, who recently decommitted from the Louisville Cardinals, has received an offer from Ed Cooley and the Friars. Hopkins made it known that he’d received an offer from the Friars on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday:

The former Louisville commit stands as one of the best players in the 2021 recruiting class. Hopkins, a power forward out of Fenwick HS in Oak Park, Illinois, ranks 33rd overall in the nation in the class of 2021. Additionally, he’s second in the talent-rich state of Illinois behind 5-star Max Christie, a Michigan State Spartans commit and the best shooting guard in 2021. Furthermore, he ranks eighth among all power forwards in the Class of 2021, a class led by the likes of five-star Paolo Banchero. Lastly, he ranks 33rd overall in the Class of 2021.
Hopkins has fielded offers from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Oregon Ducks recently as well following his decommit from Louisville.
