Having already built up an impressive recruiting class, Jay Wright and the Villanova Wildcats added to that crop late last week.

3-star guard Angelo Brizzi, a native of Monterey, Virginia, announced his commitment to the Wildcats for 2021 and beyond. The announcement was made on the Tipton Edits Twitter account:

Brizzi is the fourth player to join the Wildcats’ 2021 recruiting class, a class that recently added Jordan Longino of Fort Washington, PA. Brizzi is the first point guard of the class, as Wright has covered ground among point guards, shooting guards in Longino, small forwards in four-star wing Trey Patterson and centers in the form of four-star Nnanna Njoku.

With Brizzi in the fold, Villanova’s class ranks at the top of the Big East and also now ranks #2 in the nation behind the Florida State Seminoles.
