Earlier this week, the UConn Huskies received a commitment from a talented Philly guard.
Class of 2021 point guard Rahsool Diggins announced his intentions to go from Philly to Storrs next year. Diggins, a four-star guard and attendee of Archbishop Wood in The City of Brotherly Love, made the reveal on his Twitter account:

Diggins flourished this past season, earning the top honor in the Philly Catholic League as its Most Valuable Player. Collin Gillespie, of course, earned similar honors prior to joining the Villanova Wildcats, so Diggins is in some good company there.
At the moment, Diggins ranks third amongst all Pennsylvania recruits. He only trails five-star combo guard Jalen Warley of Westtown School in Norristown, as well as four-star center Frank Kepnang, also of Westtown School in Norristown. Diggins also ranks 54th overall in the nation in the class and eighth at his position.
He is the first to commit to UConn for the Class of 2021. As a result they rank 32nd in the nation and fifth in the Big East at this juncture.
