Editor’s Note: Added in UConn getting Rahsool Diggins. Missed it in my waves of Sunday night checks.
After a couple of fairly quiet weeks on the recruiting front, things picked up this past week, as the Villanova Wildcats, Connecticut Huskies, and Georgetown Hoyas got a couple of commitments from the class of 2021.
The Wildcats got a verbal from four-star guard Jordan Longino (Doylestown, Pa/Germantown Academy), while the Hoyas got one from three-star guard Jordan Riley (Brentwood, N.Y./Brentwood).
On Sunday night, UConn secured a commitment from four-star recruit Rahsool Diggins (Wayne, N.J./Archbishop Wood).
Georgetown is also getting an incoming transfer in Donald Carey, who previously played at Siena and Mount St. Mary’s. Carey is a graduate transfer, one that’s finishing school early, so he’ll actually have two years of eligibility remaining.
The Hoyas weren’t the only active ones on the transfer portal, with Xavier getting Adam Kunkel, who was Belmont’s top scorer and three-point threat last season.
Three-star 2021 guard Angelo Brizzi (Warrenton, Va./Highland) is also set to make his decision on Monday night. Villanova is in his final eight list, so it’s possible the Wildcats lock in another recruit for 2021.
Here is the rest of the the new recruiting action from this past week.

Other notes:
- If you notice an error, have news of a new offer, please feel free to tip me off—or Big East Coast Bias—on Twitter: @becb_sbn and @erapay5. I’ll update accordingly.
- Shoutout to Anonymous Eagle, Casual Hoya, Banners on the Parkway, Rumble in the Garden, The UConn Blog, and VU Hoops. We unfortunately don’t have articles on all recruits, but we got some help in filling some blanks from our fellow Big East SB Nation sites. Some recruits have clickable names, which will take you to a relevant article regarding that player.
- I recommend viewing the spreadsheet externally, since you’ll be able to use things like filters (Google Sheets has that option on the top-left, next to the print button.) and Ctrl+F (Apple+F if you’re on Mac) to help make searching for recruits easier. You’ll also have a bigger screen/window to look at the spreadsheet: Big East Offer Tracker, last updated July 27, 2020. Alternatively, you may view below.
