The Creighton Bluejays made a play for a rising player in the Class of 2022 on Tuesday. Greg McDermott’s squad sent an offer to Kansas City, Missouri’s Taj Manning, who revealed the news of his offer from the Jays on his Twitter account:

Thus far, the Bluejays are the first and only school to offer the Grandview High School attendee. Listed at 6-foot-7, 200 lbs., Manning right now is flying under the radar in the Class of 2022. But D1 offers should likely soon follow Creighton’s lead here for Manning.
Last season, according to his MaxPreps page, Manning averaged 16.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for Grandview HS. He led his team to a 21-7 record and an MSHSAA Class 4 Playoffs appearance, where they were eventually knocked out by Raytown South.
