Four-star, class of 2021 guard Bensley Joseph (Arlington, Mass./Putnam Science Academy) trimmed his list of schools to five on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-1 floor general will be focusing on just Boston College, Miami, Georgetown, Providence, and Marquette moving forward.

Joseph received just over a dozen offers throughout his recruitment, including Iowa, Penn State, Iona, Rutgers, Rhode Island, UMass, and a few others.

He is listed at No. 92 on 247 Sports composite class of 2021 rankings, and 68th on ESPN’s Top 100.

Joseph is a feisty finisher and can do so in traffic. He can occasionally drill threes, but he really excels at going downhill and beating his defender off the dribble. He’s got great court vision and is a solid facilitator.

Defensively, he’s a disruptive presence and can take off in transition once he’s able to get a steal or force a turnover.

Joseph will be playing his senior season at Putnam Science Academy (Conn.) this year, transferring in from the Cushing Academy (Mass.).
