Cardet Jr. has been making waves in the 2021 recruiting cycle. The 6-foot-6, 175-pound combo guard is one of the better players in this cycle. Nationally, he ranks 102nd per 247Sports Composite and is even higher on 247Sports’ standalone rankings, as he sits 49th in the nation. As far as combo guards go, Cardet Jr. ranks seventh amongst the field and fifth on 247Sports’ standalone rankings. That group is led of course by the talented Jaden Hardy out of Coronado High School in Henderson, Nevada. In the state of Florida, Cardet Jr. ranks 11th and then 7th in 247Sports’ standalone rankings.
Thus far, DePaul is the latest of many to offer him. They are the second Big East program, joining the St. John’s Red Storm in that department. Additionally, he’s fielded offers from Howard, Florida A&M, Rutgers, Kansas State, Maryland, Iowa State, Alabama, Clemson, USC, Dayton and Florida, among a host of others.
