Big East offer tracker (Oct. 12): Recruiting update, offers, final cuts, and more!

No new Big East commits this week, but Mike Anderson was busy in Arkansas.

For the first time in nearly seven weeks, there aren’t any new Big East commits to report on, but here’s all the action from this past week on the recruiting trail.

New offers:

  • 2021 forward Mustapha Amzil (Finland/First Love Christian Academy) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • Three-star, 2022 forward Jerome Beya (Congo/Teays Valley Christian) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • 2023 guard Layden Blocker (Little Rock, Ark./Little Rock Christian Academy) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • 2022 guard Robert Cowherd (Atlanta, Ga./Grayson) received an offer from Xavier.
  • 2022 forward Federiko Federiko (South Sudan/First Love Christian Academy) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • Three-star, 2023 forward Brandon Gardner (Waynesboro, Ga./Gray Academy) received offers from DePaul and Georgetown.
  • 2022 guard Bryce Lindsay (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) received an offer from Georgetown.
  • Three-star, 2022 forward Jai Smith (Syracuse, N.Y./Bull City Prep) received an offer from Marquette.
  • 2023 guard Sean Stewart (Orlando, Fla./Windermere) received an offer from Georgetown.
  • 2023 guard Bryson Warren (North Little Rock, Ark./Little Rock Central) received an offer from St. John’s.
  • Three-star, 2022 forward Christian Watson (Washington, D.C./St. John’s) received an offer from Providence.
  • 2022 forward Creed Williamson (Little Rock, Ark./First Love Christian Academy) received an offer St. John’s.

Non-Big East commitments:

  • Four-star, 2021 center Franck Kepnang (Cameroon/Westtown School) committed to Oregon. Held offers from UConn, St. John’s, Georgetown, and DePaul.
  • Five-star, 2021 forward Jabari Smith (Sandy, Ga./Sandy Creek) committed to Auburn, had an offer from Georgetown.
  • Three-star, 2021 guard Lucas Taylor (Wake Forest, N.C./Heritage) committed to Clemson, had offers from Providence, Xavier, Marquette, UConn, and Creighton.
  • St. John’s target, 2021 guard Darrius Tilghman (Towson, Md./Calvert Hall) committed to Division II Chestnut Hill.
