For 6-foot-10 big man Micawber Etienne (Middletown, N.Y./Suffield Academy), his pile of scholarship offers continues to grow even bigger.
The top 100-ranked Class of 2021 prospect continues to rake in Division I attention. Thanks to his most recent one from the Seton Hall Pirates, he’s now close to a dozen offers for the summer.

Since coaches were first allowed to make contact with Class of 2021 recruits earlier this year, his recruitment has taken off, with a number of high-major programs reaching out to him.
Seton Hall joins fellow Big East schools Marquette, Providence, St. John’s, and Xavier in the hunt for the four-star big man. Future conference member UConn had also offered him.
Aside from those schools, he also has Syracuse, Pitt, UCLA, Arizona State, Rutgers, Iowa, Wake Forest, VCU, Bryant, UMass, Central Connecticut, Manhattan, and Stony Brook knocking on his door.
He’s blessed with a 7-foot-3 wingspan and a standing reach that stacks up just over nine-feet tall. Etienne anchors the paint on both ends of the floor. On one end, he’s a solid finisher inside. He’s crafty, but he’s also strong enough to just bully his opponent in the post. He also has solid vision and can pass well out of the low block.
Defensively, not only is he a strong rebounder, but he’s also an enforcer. He protects the rim well and establishes good positioning in the post.
